Hip / Thigh Guides
Like all Dreamline Supports, Dreamline Hip Guides & Armrests have a firm closed cell foam inner with a soft immersive overlay of Sunmate visco-elastic foam & offer full legnth support to the thighs & arms. The armrests are wide to fully support the indiviuals arm. Dreamline Swing-down / removable hardware provides multiple options for transfers. The brackets are adjustable in height, depth, width & by using the pivot style, angle positionning is also available.
Arm Supports
Dreamline Arm Supports have a durable aluminium shell with multiple slots for attaching items such as elbow blocks, arm blocks & tray mounting systems etc. The soft arm pad overlaid with viscoelastic Sunmate foam offers wide full arm support. The cover is removable for washing. Dreamline height adjustment is easy to operate with a pull knob.
Full length Hip guides provide increased support leverage to the femur. A soft overlay of Sunmate Visco-elastic foam provides protection for bony prominences such as hip subluxation. Dreamline Hip Guides are fully adjustable for asymmetrical postures such as windsweeping. External hip guides can improve transfer accuracy by providing a width guide space for the individual helping ensure the pelvis is well positioned. Washable neoprene covers are water resistant and can help prevent fluids & odours permeating the foam inner.

Arms carry approximately 10% of the weight of the user. Arm position is critical as they can influence the position of the trunk & overall sitting ability & stability. Dreamline laterals with their full width support have demonstrated good arm propping & infinite width, depth, angle for accurate arm positioning.
